Teaser Tuesdays (1)

Hi everyone! The Deranged Book Lovers is a new blog on the block! Thanks for visiting our page, and if you have the time, please feel free to look around and tell us what you think of our blog. :D Also, there's a form on our sidebar. We would really appreciate it if you could fill it out. Thanks!

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that pag e
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title, and author too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Mithee's Teaser Tuesdays is:

He escorted me over the threshold , smiling as I glowered at him. "As your night, I am entitled to point these things out. Part of the job description when you asked me."

"Yeah right." I muttered, crossing my arms. Ash smiled.

Lyn's Teaser Tuesday:

At around 4:00 in the morning Salander shut down her PowerBook and sat on her window seat looking out at Saltsjön. She sat quietly for two hours, smoking one cigarette after another, thinking. She had a number of strategic decision to make - and she had to do a risk assessment.
She had to find Zala and settle their accounts once and for all.

The Girl who Played with Fire by Stieg Larsson. p219

Kay-c's Teaser Tuesday~!

Lily's Little own Walden never realized. For this. "So you traded an Italian villa and wine for crumbling Cotswold and an illegal Pet. You're not very good at trades, are you, Lily?"

She impties a dustpan of broken glass into the trash and looks at me straight on, briefly, then bangs the dustpan against the can to get all the last particles

"I do Okay?" she says

Ooh, two great teasers in one spot. I'm especially curious about the first one, on the TBR it goes. My teasers are up at Discovery For Life and Calico Contemplations.
