Lyn: I'm reading two books this week. One is American Gods by Neil Gaiman. I got the paperback copy from my friend and I read it on my way to and from the office, so far I'm enjoying Shadow's adventure with all those crazy and mischievous gods.
The other book is The Poison Eaters by Holly Black which I read whenever I get the chance to hijack borrow my mom's laptop. I've received several free egalleys from Simon & Schuster and The Poison Eaters from Holly Black is one of them. The moment I saw it I knew I have to read it and currently I'm reading the fifth story in this book, The Dog King.

It's Not Summer Without You by Jenny Ha

Mithee: Actually, I have 8 books on my currently-reading list, but I'm focusing on these two the most. I liked 13 to Life a lot, so I was really excited to read its sequel, Secrets and Shadows. On It's Not Summer Without You, however, I had mixed feelings about its first book. I've always wanted to read this series, but didn't want to start until all 3 books have been released. And now that Simon & Schuster is offering free e-galley of its third book, I thought I should grab the chance. I'll be posting teasers of both tomorrow for Teaser Tuesdays. ;P

Lynossa: Currently I'm reading Logic of Demons by H.A Goodman and when I'm done I will start reading galley of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Sausages by Tom Holt from NetGalley.

Yesterday I made cornflakes cookies. It's been months since the last time I cook something (beside the usual meal). Perhaps because this is one of my never-fail recipes, the result was great. Everyone in the family likes it.

Lynossa: I've finished Heroes of The Valley by Jonathan Stroud and currently in the middle of reading Freefall by Roderick Gordon and Brian Williams and also re-read The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas. Dumas is one of my favorite classic authors, I'm planning to read all his Musketeers series.
After I'm done, I will start reading Logic of Demons by Hal Goodman.

Mithee: It's exams week again! I already started reading Katrina, The Beginning (Royal Blood Chronicles #1) by Elizabeth Loraine, but had to put it on hiatus as tomorrow is the beginning of our preliminary exams. SO! Now, I'm currently reading Basic and Clinical Pharmacology, 11th Edition (LANGE Basic Science)

How boring, right? Maybe I'll post teasers of both books tomorrow? Can you say 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid 10 times? How'd you like that? :D

I borrowed Anna and the French Kiss from a friend who bought it from the Book Depository since it's still not available in our country. I've heard a lot of good things about it, so even though I was reading The Knife of Never Letting Go, I didn't hesitate on grabbing the opportunity (read: book. Literally) to borrow it. How about you? What are you reading this Monday?

Also, do you know what day tomorrow is??? Tomorrow is December Seven Two Thousand Ten!! That means LAST SACRIFICE will be officially released!! Yay!!
